Located at the corner of Maarad and Weygand Street, it assumes the transition between two languages of architecture, which coexist in the “New Old” city center.
The project integrates itself in its surrounding through a double facade: The first facade, on Maarad Street aligns itself with the traditional row of arcades existing in that street and introduces contemporary elements to the old model of the facade.
The second facade detaches itself from the main volume by two transparent slots. Its expression is a total liberation from the traditional imposing architecture of Maarad Street, yet respecting the old proportions in the design of the curtain wall and the glass openings.
