Late King Fahd Palace – Mecca

Grouped in a square plan, the introvert functions overlook a central double volume which provides a gathering space, naturally lit by a play of domed skylights and emphasized by two sculptural spiral staircases.

The general classical order along which the external lines were conceived, and the two levels of arcaded galleries, protected by musharrabiyas, give an overall serene atmosphere, inherent to Holy Mecca.
