UOB Faculties of Medicine & Health Sciences

The University of Balamand is one of the fastest growing universities in Lebanon. Its unique campus and its geographical location classify it as the major University of north Lebanon.

Located at the edge of the campus, and at the entrance of the University, the Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Health Sciences were designed along the strict architectural criteria and requirements of the campus Master Plan.

The U-Shaped buildings create a piazza of human scale that faces the mountains and the sea. The two faculties are linked by overlapping glass bridges which are used as student lounges. The facades are clad with the traditional white stone which is present all over the campus, and the yellow stone was used to emphasize the arcaded entrances.
